Announcement Message
The Board of Education will engage in a dialogue with associates from HYA to determine key milestones and make critical decisions regarding the Superintendent search process, which includes:
- Review of prototypical search process and determine if any changes or revisions are needed;
- Development of community engagement strategy and plans, including the use of focus groups and online survey;
- Development of protocols related to the search, including decisions about open or closed search and interview protocols;
- Development of the Leadership Profile Report and drafting of desired candidate characteristics;
- Key decisions about application and interview processes and protocols, residency expectations, and compensation package for the successful candidate.
- Development and approval of a calendar for the search. A proposed calendar is below.
