COVID-19 Vaccine Updates

COVID-19 vaccines remain an essential way to prevent the most serious symptoms of COVID-19. SFUSD is strongly urging everyone who is eligible and has not yet been vaccinated to do so now to protect themselves and their loved ones.

Additionally, San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH) began offering a 3rd dose of Pfizer or Moderna vaccines to those who meet specific criteria for immunocompromised health conditions starting on August 18.

Immunocompromised individuals can make an appointment or find a nearby vaccination site at sf.gov/get-vaccinated.

More details and the complete health advisory on 3rd dose vaccination is available here.

SFUSD families can also call the COVID-19 Vaccine Call Center to book and appointment, find a drop-in site, or get answers to questions about the vaccine at 628-652-2700 (language assistance available) or email sfvaxnow@sfdph.org.

COVID-19 Testing Sites

SFUSD families who wish to access free COVID-19 testing can do so through the District's partnership with Color. Learn more about Color testing sites and register students at sfusd.edu/covidtesting.

Families can also access the multiple testing sites across San Francisco by visiting SF.gov's website to learn about testing options and access additional information on COVID-19 testing.

Isolation and Quarantine Resources

SFUSD families who are seeking support during isolation or quarantine due to COVID-19 can access the COVID Resource Center to access resources, including temporary housing, food delivery, cleaning supplies, and financial assistance.

The SFDPH launched the COVID Resource Center for those who tested positive for COVID-19 or are in close contact. The service can be reached out 628-217-6101.
