San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) schools are celebrating Inclusive Schools Week Monday, December 2 - Friday, December 6. School and community events include:
- Special Olympics Basketball Tournaments (Tuesday and Thursday)
- Ability Awareness Fair (Wednesday)
- ACCESS Program Inclusive Talent Show (Thursday)
- African American Early Literacy Night (Thursday)
- Film Screening & Panel Discussion: The Kids We Lose (Thursday)
- SuperFest Disability Film Festival (Friday)

WHY
Inclusive Schools Week champions the progress that schools are making in providing a safe and supportive learning environment for an increasingly diverse student population. By engaging in discussions about the importance of inclusion and by participating in Inclusive Schools Week, we can help to ensure all students and families feel included at SFUSD schools.
ABOUT INCLUSIVE SCHOOLS WEEK
Inclusive Schools Week is a time to reflect on our charge to assist students to be the best version of themselves. This year's national Inclusive Schools Week theme is "Charting the Course for Inclusion.”
