Highlights for September 24-28, 2018

Alaska Airlines made history earlier this year and students at Rosa Parks Elementary School will have a front row seat. Sisters in the Skies will bring Captain Tara Wrightand co-pilot First Officer Mallory Cave - the first two African American, female pilots in the airline’s history - to share their stories with students and answer questions. The international aviation organization aims to encourage female students of color to pursue STEM fields

Cesar Chavez Elementary School students will learn about fire safety using The Hartford's 27' fire safety simulation trailer and San Francisco Fire Department fire engines. San Francisco Giants’ Mark Melancon will also speak with students about fire safety.
