Cole Sisser, class of 2018 at Ruth Asawa School of the Arts (RASOTA) and winner of the “Best Actor” award at the Rita Moreno California High School Musical Honors ceremony in May, is now traveling to New York City for the National High School Musical Theatre Awards™ (the Jimmy® Awards), presented by The Broadway League Foundation. Cole is the first ever RASOTA student to compete for the national award. |

WHY |
On May 21, RASOTA won the “Best Overall Production” and “Fan Favorite” awards at the Rita Moreno California High School Musical Honors ceremony in San Jose for its spring 2018 school production of “Young Frankenstein.” RASOTA student Cole Sisser won the award for “Best Actor.” Cole will travel to New York City next week to compete for the coveted “Jimmy Award” for Best Performance by an Actor at the 10th annual presentation. |
