What is an Educational Partner?
An Educational Partner is anyone who is committed to supporting our students who need it the most; particularly our Black/African American, Latinx and Pacific Islander students. Educational Partners meet regularly to discuss and collaborate on the Comprehensive Coordinated Early Intervening Service (CCEIS) activities, CCEIS plans and the needs our our Rising Scholar.

Comprehensive Coordinated Early Intervening Services
Too many Black/African American children are in Special Education, in comparison to their overall numbers in San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD). As a result, the California Department of Education has sanctioned SFUSD, requiring that 15% of the Special Education budget be reallocated to support the work of CCEIS - Comprehensive Coordinated Early Intervening Services in general education.
Our children are brilliant. Our goal is to interrupt the practices and beliefs that are leading to Black/African American students and their peers being over-identified for Special Education. Ultimately, we want to see our students thrive academically and social-emotionally, and live the life they dream of living.
