SFUSD Google Suite for Education
Our district uses Google Workspace for Education to communicate, collaborate, and learn. Students are provided with an SFUSD Google account that allows them to access SFUSD email, documents, and many other learning tools.
SFUSD is committed to ensuring students’ data is safe and secure. To learn more about your student’s SFUSD Google account and privacy, use an internet-enabled device to visit bit.ly/GoogleParentInfo (note: this URL, also known as an internet address, is case-sensitive).
The District enables various Google tools and some third-party Google-integrated applications for educational use by students and staff. Those Google-integrated applications are disclosed in section 4.9.5 and at sfusd.edu/apps. Throughout the school year, staff-requested tools and services are vetted by the District to ensure they are educationally relevant and do not disclose student data. Please note that not all the tools listed on sfusd.edu/apps can be accessed by all students. Some need to be purchased by your student’s school. If you have questions about your student’s access to various tools and services, please reach out to your student’s teacher or your school site administrator.
